While in our nations capital the COALATREE crew decided to take a gander at the United States Botanic Garden Conservatory. The conservatory is called the "Lord & Burnham" greenhouse and it is divided into 12 separate rooms, each simulating a unique habitat. Each room is monitored by a computer-operated sensors to ensure the environment is best suited to the plants in that room. Besides the conservatory there is the Bartholdi Park, and the because of the time of year, and the rainy day, we missed it but we will be back. The crew was able to take in the natural wonder and sampled some hot peppers off a couple different plants. If you find yourself in Washington DC then definitely check out the United States Botanic Garden, its its beautiful and its free. What's better than that?comments powered by Disqus
